GSAC Releases Weekly Honor Roll For October 4th
Demorest, GA - The Great South Athletic Conference has released its weekly honor roll for October 4th with Piedmont's Ashley Landers garnering the volleyball Player of the Week honor and Piedmont's Drew Griffin and Maryville's Allison Harrell earning the men's and women's soccer honors.

Landers tallied 54 kills in four matches for a 13.5 kill per game average to go along with 14 digs for the Lady Lions. She also broke the school's single game kill record of 25 in a GSAC loss to LaGrange.

Griffin scored four goals in two conference wins including a three-goal hat-trick in a home victory over LaGrange.

Harrell netted one score in the Lady Scots' three GSAC victories on the week. The honor is the third of the season for the MC women's soccer team.
