GSAC Releases Final Weekly Honor Roll For Fall Sports
Demorest, GA - The Great South Athletic Conference has released
its final weekly honor roll for fall sports with Maryville's
Jennifer Francescon garnering the volleyball Player
of the Week honor and Huntingdon's Bryan Cartmell and
Agnes Scott's Aimee Kahn-Foss earning the men's and
women's soccer honors.
Francescon recorded 41 kills in four Lady Scot victories for a 3.92
kill per game average. She also added 64 digs and six service aces as
the hosts went unbeaten in the Maryville Invitational.
Cartmell earned a pair of victories in goal for the Hawks with two key
saves in a 2-1 conference win over LaGrange and a shut out in the quarterfinal
play-in victory over Fisk.
Kahn-Foss set up both ASC's goals in the Scotties' 2-0 GSAC quarterfinal
upset of fourth-seeded LaGrange.
The Great South Athletic Conference is an athletic affiliation of seven
NCAA Division-III member institutions in Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee.
