GSAC honors Ravizee, Adams in basketball honor roll
LaGrange, Ga. - The Great South Athletic Conference has released its basketball honor roll for the week ending Dec. 4. Huntingdon's Ronnisha Ravizee and Piedmont's Mike Adams were selected.
Ravizee, a senior guard, scored 43 points in two games last week. She had 24 points against Agnes Scott. In the game, Ravizee hit 6-of-10 three pointers, had five steals and three rebounds. She added 19 points and five rebounds against Oglehtorpe.
Adams, a junior guard, led the team in scoring in two of three games last week. He averaged over 17 points per game for the week along with three assists per game. Adams was named to the all-tournament team at the Millsaps College Round Ball Classic after scoring 37 points in two games, including 20 in a win over Rust College.
The Great South Athletic Conference is an athletic affiliation of eight NCAA Division-III member institutions in Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee.
