Duncan, Dodd named to weekly basketball honor roll
LaGrange, Ga. - The Great South Athletic Conference has released its final basketball honor roll for the 2005-06 season. Piedmont's Kayla Duncan and Huntingdon's Jon Dodd took the honors.
Duncan, a freshman forward, scored 50 points and pulled down 17 rebounds in two games. She had a double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds against Agnes Scott.
Dodd, a senior center, scored 27 points in two games. He hit 12-of-15 shots from the floor, pulled down 11 rebounds and had three blocks. He scored a career-high 17 points against Pensacola Christian.
The Great South Athletic Conference is an athletic affiliation of eight NCAA Division-III member institutions in Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee.
