Game Notes: The Lady Scots (22-6) used a smothering defense to win their fifth GSAC title in six years. It was the first championship game appearance for the Scotties (15-13), who had their school's best season ever. Maryville's Natalie Munday was named the tournament's MVP. She scored 20 points and pulled down seven rebounds in just 18 minutes of play. Charise Bain had 12 points for the Lady Scots. Whitney Morgan led Agnes Scott with nine points. Maryville held Agnes Scott to 18 percent shooting from the floor. The Lady Scots never trailed in the game.
