Maryville's Saxe named women's basketball player of the week
Maryville's Katie Saxe is the GSAC Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 7.
Saxe averaged 16 points per game in two wins for the Lady Scots last week. She had 20 points and seven rebounds in a win over King College. Saxe is seventh in the GSAC in scoring, averaging 11.6 points per game.
