Maryville's Dalton named women's basketball player of the week
Maryville senior forward Summer Dalton is the GSAC Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 21.

Dalton led the Lady Scots to two wins last week. She averaged 21 points in the two games. Dalton had 24 points in the win over Fisk. She hit 66 percent from the floor, including 5-of-8 from three-point range. Dalton finished the week with 18 points against Spelman.

Dalton leads Maryville in scoring and is second in the GSAC in scoring. She leads the GSAC with 47 three-pointers made, while shooting 43 percent from three-point range.
