Maryville's Seal named women's basketball player of the week
Maryville senior forward Kim Seal is the GSAC Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 7.

Seal scored 37 points and had seven rebounds in two games for the week. She had a season-high 21 points against Piedmont and a game-best 16 points against LaGrange. Seal shot 52 percent from the field and was a perfect 11-for-11 at the free throw line. For the season, Seal is averaging 9.2 points per game.
