Maryville sweeps President's Cup championships for third straight time

LaGrange, Ga. -
The Great South Athletic Conference released its final 2006-07 Presidents' Cup standings after the completion of the spring sports championships.
Maryville College for the third straight time has swept the President's Cup championships.

Maryville's women won conference championships in cross country, soccer and volleyball. They were second in basketball, softball and tennis. Piedmont was second and Agnes Scott third following Maryville. Piedmont won basketball and was second in volleyball. Agnes Scott was second in cross country. Huntingdon won the tennis championship.

On the men's side, Maryville won conference championships in cross country, basketball and baseball. Maryville's men were second in soccer and tennis. Piedmont won championships in soccer and tennis. LaGrange was second in cross country, basketball and baseball.
