Piedmont's Tucker named volleyball player of the week
Sophomore middle hitter Katie Tucker of Piedmont is the GSAC player of the week for the week ending Oct. 28. Tucker had 45 kills in four matches for the Lady Lions. She averaged 3.21 kills per game and had a .330 hitting percentage. Tucker also had 29 total blocks. For the season, Tucker is third on the team with 226 kills. She is fourth in the GSAC with a .254 hitting percentage.
