Maryville's Skerczak named volleyball player of the week
Junior middle hitter Rachael Skerczak of Maryville is the GSAC player of the week for the week ending Oct. 7. Skerczak led the Lady Scots to a 3-1 record last week, including two GSAC wins. In the four matches, she had 48 kills, 11 service aces, 35 digs and 18 total blocks.Skerczak is second on the team and fourth in the GSAC with 206 kills for the season.
