Maryville's Metts named women's soccer player of the week
Sophomore midfielder Lauren Metts of Maryville is the GSAC women's soccer player of the week for the week ending Oct. 6. Metts scored four goals and had an assist in the Lady Scots' GSAC wins over Wesleyan and Spelman. She had a goal and an assist against Wesleyan and capper her week with three goals against Spelman. Metts is fifth on the team and sixth in the GSAC in scoring.
