Agnes Scott, Maryville College win GSAC cross country championships
Agnes Scott won its third women's championship in the past four years and the Maryville men won their third straight championship at the GSAC cross country championships hosted by Piedmont College.
Maryville swept the Runner of the Year awards. Freshman Jenna Boucher won the women's championship for the Lady Scots, while senior Stephen Shankles won the men's championship for the second straight year. Boucher also won Freshman of the Year honors for the women. Piedmont's Christopher Rice was the men's Freshman of the Year.
Agnes Scott's Mary Chind and Maryville's Tyson Murphy received coach of the year honors.
