Maryville's Orr named men's basketball player of the week
Maryville College's Chris Orr is the GSAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Dec. 23. Orr led the Fighting Scots to a 76-65 win over Transylvania in their only game last week.

The sophomore post player had a game-high 21 points for the Fighting Scots. He hit 10-of-13 shots from the field and 1-of-2 free throws. Orr had six rebounds, two blocks, two steals and an assist.
