Huntingdon's Pittman named men's basketball player of the week
Huntingdon College's Jeremy Pittman is the GSAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 6. Pittman led the Hawks to their first back-to-back wins of the season against Pensacola Christian and Rust.

Pittman, a senior, averaged 18 points and 11.5 rebounds per game last week. Against Rust, he had a double-double of 25 points and 15 rebounds. It was his fifth double-double of the season. Pittman leads the Hawks in scoring, averaging 15.2 points per game. He also leads the team and the GSAC in rebounding, averaging 9.1 rebounds per game.
