Piedmont's Trimiar named women's player of the week
Piedmont College's Sheena Trimiar is the GSAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 27. The senior helped the Lady Lions remain unbeaten in GSAC play with wins over Spelman and LaGrange.

Trimiar had 43 points in the two games, including a career-high 31 in the win over LaGrange. In the game, she hit 11-of-14 shots from the floor and all nine of her free throws. Trimiar also had a career-high 14 steals in the game. She leads the Lady Lions and the GSAC in steals, averaging 3.59 per game.
