Huntingdon's Slater named women's player of the week
Huntingdon College's Patsy Slater is the GSAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Feb. 17. The senior forward helped the Lady Hawks split two GSAC games last week.

Slater averaged a double-double, 13 points and 11.5 rebounds on the week. She converted 42.3 percent of her shots from the floor, hitting 11-of-26 during the week. Slater had a double-double of 14 points and 14-rebounds in the school's first NCAA Division III win over Maryville. It was her fifth double-double of the season. Slater is second on the team in scoring, averaging 10.8 points per game. She leads the team in rebounding, averaging 7.9 rebounds per game.
