LaGrange's Render named men's basketball player of the week
LaGrange College's Demetris Render is the GSAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Feb. 24. The senior forward led the Panthers to a GSAC win over Huntingdon in his final home game.

Render scored a game-high 25 points against Huntingdon. He was 6-for-9 from the floor and hit 13-of-15 free throws in the game. Render also had seven rebounds. For the season, Render leads the team and is second in the GSAC in scoring, averaging 21.3 points per game. He also leads the team in rebounding, averaging 7.7 per game.
