Piedmont's Griffin named men's soccer player of the week
Senior forward Drew Griffin of Piedmont is the men’s soccer player of the week for the week ending Sept. 9. Griffin led the Lions (3-1) to wins over Emmanuel and Eastern Mennonite last week. He scored two goals in each win and has eight for the season. Griffin led the GSAC in scoring last year with 30 goals and 65 points overall.
