Piedmont's Porter named women's soccer player of the week
Sophomore forward Katie Porter of Piedmont is the women’s soccer player of the week for the week ending Sept. 9. She scored five goals in leading the Lady Lions(1-1, 1-0 GSAC) to a 9-0 win over Wesleyan in a GSAC game last week. Porter led the GSAC in scoring last year with 31 goals and 64 points overall.
