Spelman's Jordan named volleyball player of the week
Sophomore middle hitter Jacqueline Jordan of Spelman is the GSAC player of the week for the week ending Sept. 16. Jordan helped lead the Jaguars to their first three wins of the season, including a conference win over Agnes Scott. She had 36 kills, a .441 hitting percentage, 18 service aces, seven total blocks and seven digs. Jordan had career highs of 13 kills against Fisk and eight service aces against Agnes Scott. She leads the GSAC with a .364 hitting percentage for the season.
