Piedmont's Griffin named men's soccer player of the week
Senior forward Drew Griffin of Piedmont is the GSAC men's soccer player of the week for the week ending Sept. 23. This is the second time this season that Griffin has received the honor. Griffin scored eight goals in three games last week. He scored four goals for the second time this season in a GSAC win over LaGrange. Griffin leads the Lions and the GSAC in scoring with 17 points and 35 points. Griffin leads the NCAA Division III in points per game and goals per game.
