The Great South Athletic Conference announced the  men's basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 31. Piedmont College senior J.C. Herebia is the Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Herebia led the Lions to two wins last week, including an 80-78 overtime win over GSAC foe Maryville College. He averaged 16 points and 6.5 rebounds per game for the week. Herebia shot 72 percent from the floor (13-of-18), including 2-for-2 from 3-point range.
